This car, designed by Colin Chapman, was the first ground effect car and raced in the 1977 and 1978 seasons of the Formula One World Championship driven by Gunnar Nilsson e Mario Andretti e Ronnie Peterson. It has a Ford Cosworth DFV engine with a 5 speed Hewland gearbox. In the 1978 season, Mario Andretti won the Driver Championship and the Team won the Constructors Championship.
